Utah Valley Sierra Forum

For a better, smarter, healthier, sustainable Utah Valley and Planet. We are an informal affiliate of the Sierra Club, and host public forums, events, community service projects and outings toward that end.

FORUM noun 1. a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on particular issues can be exchanged.

UVSF Objectives Include:

  • To explore, enjoy and protect this beautiful part of the earth, while enjoying each other's fellowship
  • To educate ourselves about ways the earth needs protecting and restoring, and how we can help
  • To work with others to help educate the PUBLIC and our GOVERNMENTAL OFFICIALS about the same
  • To have a positive influence on our community, to take action, and to make changes in our own lives to help protect the earth and make life better for the common good, present and future
  • To communicate with our elected officials and with the public directly and via the media about issues and concerns that help protect the planet and make life better for all
  • To communicate with each other to help us reach our objectives
  • To do community service, educational and other kinds of outings and events to improve the quality of the environment and to educate and enlist the public in helping improve, restore and protect the health and well-being of the earth
