While melting polar icecaps and rising sea levels seems to be a far-away problem, Utah's precious winter snow pack, our primary water source, is at risk due to climate change and will clearly suffer more and more in the future unless we can work together as citizens and governments to dramatically cut carbon emissions. Please join us as we honor our life-sustaining water supply by participating in a gathering-of-the-waters celebration at the Sugarhouse Park pond. Bring some water from your local watershed, your favorite stream, canyon, snowfield, or kitchen sink to participate in the gathering of the waters ceremony to honor this fragile resource. Children, families, and anyone concerned about Climate Action are encouraged to participate. Bring a lunch! More info http://eh.wetpaint.com/page/A+Runoff+Celebration .
