BACKGROUND -- Between the regular Legislative Sessions (45 days Jan-Mar) the Legislature meets once a month to take testimony, receive reports, review proposed legislation, and generally conduct a great deal of the business of government. Interim is a great opportunity for citizens to familiarize themselves with the Legislature and provides an opportunity for talking to Legislators about issues that we care about.
