If you currently commute by bike or are considering this rewarding and
healthy lifestyle our bicycle commuting workshop is for you! With
record high gas prices, air pollution, and traffic congestion many are
parking their cars, trucks and SUVs and opting for their bicycles.
Bicycle commuting is healthier, better for the environment, often faster
and a whole lot cheaper!
Join us, the Salt Lake City Bicycle Collective and David Everett from
the Mayor's Bicycle Advisory Committee to discuss commuting tips and
tricks, safety and security, bike route maps, bike laws, and the current
as well as future development bike plan for Salt Lake City.
This is a great introductory presentation for people new to urban
cycling, as well as a worth while refresher for long-time bike
commuters. Cost is $5 for USEE Members, $10 for Non-members, which
includes lunch. RSVP by July 11th to ensure your spot! Contact Nancy
at nancy@usee.org for more information.
